The Dark Forest is a science fiction novel by the Chinese writer Liu Cixin. It is the second novel in the trilogy titled Remembrance of Earth's Past.With an alien fleet centuries away and Earth's scientific progress blocked by alien surveillance, humanity must find unconventional means of resistance. The novel centers on the Wallfacer Project. Humanities desperate atempt resistance, granting four individuals unlimited resources to devise plans known only to themselves.
